ABOUT ME
My name is Khirin Dacanay, and I am from sunny San Diego. I graduated from the Universtiy of Arizona with degrees in Accounting and Management Information Systems. There, I was able to make my impact by becoming the first president of AZA, Wining the new venture pitch competition, and completing the program with a 4.0 GPA.
Following my time at UofA, I studied at Harvard Business School as an SVMP Fellow. This program grew my love of business and prepared me to start my career as a Strategy Associate at KPMG. At KPMG, I conducted M&A due diligence and performance improvement projects.
Currently, I work as an analyst at Out for Undergrad. I also work to bring new medical devices to market as the Strategy and Business Development lead for Nevent MEdical Devices.
Even while working hard, I always make time to stop and smell the roses (or stop and climb up a mountain). I like to keep myself grounded by seeing friends, hiking, and writing poetry.
Overall, my main professional interest is to use technology, accounting/finance, and strategy to create effective solutions for real people. I hope to do the most good and become the best version of myself.
